Now, all health care plans must pay using lower cost Automated Clearing House (ACH) electronic funds transfer if a provider requests it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/billingparadise.com\/testing\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Payment-processing-options.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1755\" src=\"https:\/\/billingparadise.com\/testing\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Payment-processing-options.png\" alt=\"Payment processing options\" width=\"260\" height=\"219\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Accepting ACH payments is safe and easy; all that\u2019s needed is a bank account. It works like a direct deposit paycheck \u00ad\u00ad\u2013 the funds are transferred directly between banks and post automatically. <strong>No more processing paper checks and, at about $0.34 per transaction<\/strong>, it\u2019s significantly cheaper than insurer credit cards.
