{"id":11003,"date":"2020-08-07T06:30:31","date_gmt":"2020-08-07T11:30:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.billingparadise.com\/blog\/?p=11003"},"modified":"2026-03-13T05:19:50","modified_gmt":"2026-03-13T10:19:50","slug":"aurora-health-plans-to-double-revenue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.billingparadise.com\/blog\/aurora-health-plans-to-double-revenue\/","title":{"rendered":"Aurora Health plans to double revenue"},"content":{"rendered":"<section  class=\"section no\"><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"wpb_column col-md-12 have-padding\"><div class=\"text-block \" ><div class=\"simple-text \"><p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Milwaukee Business Journal <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in a report featuring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.advocateaurorahealth.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Advocate Aurora Health<\/a>\u00a0 states that the 28-hospital system with dual headquarters in Milwaukee and Downers Grove, Illinois have plans to more than double their revenue by 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpmorgan.com\/about-us\/events-conferences\/health-care-conference\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">J.P.Morgan Healthcare Conference<\/a> in San Francisco, the company disclosed that it plans to meet its goals through acquisition and mergers of healthcare systems, health insurers and other healthcare products, terming their initiative as a &#8220;bold new strategy&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With 74,000 employees, and more than 2 million patients, Advocate Aurora expected to end the fiscal year in 2019 with a revenue of $12.8 billion. By 2025, the\u00a0 company has an established goal of reaching $27 billion, it also has plans to increase the patient quotient it serves to about 10 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">By buying hospitals and health systems, Advocate Aurora has plans to become a &#8220;multimarket consolidator. It wants to introduce new consumer products by creating or acquiring a health and wellness business, and simultaneously consolidate with new health plans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Advocate Aurora spokesman Adam Mesirow told the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Milwaukee Business Journal<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> that their bold new strategy will ensure that their organization is well positioned for a strong and healthy future, so that they can lead the change and fulfill their purpose of helping more people live well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Milwaukee Business Journal in a report featuring Advocate Aurora Health\u00a0 states that the 28-hospital system with dual headquarters in Milwaukee and Downers Grove, Illinois have plans to more than double their revenue by 2025.
