According to the research conducted by FairHealth, certain practices are losing a considerable amount of revenue as the access to them is being encumbered by the pandemic. More importantly these practices have lost their utilization in the face of the pandemic. People who would have considered the treatment from these procedures vital, have now been forced to reprioritize.

Elective surgeries are facing the same problem. People are now being forced to choose life over the procedure they wish to have. Unemployment has also played a huge role in this problem. People are forced to choose between meals, rent and do not have the same amount of revenue they had when they chose to receive treatment from these specialities.

The specialities that have seen rapid decline in utilization due to the pandemic are:

Oral Surgery
