This survey proves the importance of RPM if it were needed. RPM, a component of telemedicine has greatly helped the efforts in the fight against COVID-19. Physically disabled, elderly and terminally ill patients can have safe and continuous access to healthcare from the comforts of their home regardless of the pressures of the pandemic. Telemedicine is being considered as a silver lining to this opandic and rightfully so. As this survey depicts more and more providers are recognising the importance and benefits of RPM and are aggressively investing and implementing it. The providers are in control at all times and aware of even the smallest changes to the vitals of their patients. Their emergency response is much quicker while using RPM, because they are alerted in real time of the emergency. RPM also provides an unshakable sense of safety to the patients. Opting for RPM also enables providers to effectively manage their losses caused by the pandemic. So overall it is a great investment.
